It’s Birthday Cake Time Again…And I’m Giving a Gift!

Birthday cupcake is my birthday weekend, an event that I look forward to every year even though I should be dreading another birthday wrinkle or birthday cake having its way with my thighs. One of the things I love most about birthdays is the love I receive from my family and friends. Even Facebook friends I’ve never met in person brighten my day with a birthday wish. Another thing I love about birthdays is the way each celebration etches a lasting memory in my mind and conjures memories of long-ago days when my mother made homemade birthday cakes and I blew out candles that were widely spaced on the cake. Now, I’d probably collapse from lack of oxygen if I tried to blow out all the candles I’m entitled to now, but those memories of my childhood are vivid in my mind.

This year, I’m celebrating my birthday weekend by giving one of my readers a present. Just leave a comment about what you think is the best thing about birthdays, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win an e-copy of my new release, Love Potion #7.Β Love Potion #7 Cover

Be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you. The winner will be announced Monday, November 5.
